May is a great time to visit New York, especially if you want to catch the latest shows. The Tony nominations will be announced on May 2 and a barrage of new productions will open on Broadway just before April 27 (the official cutoff for Tony consideration). With that in mind, TheaterMania would like to invite you to the city May 5-7 to see several of those new shows, all of which are awards contenders — and you can say you saw them before they won.

The weekend officially kicks off on Friday with a cocktail party at the Westin Hotel, which will be immediately followed by an evening performance of New York, New York, the stage adaptation of the 1977 film, which features direction and choreography by Susan Stroman (The Producers).

Saturday is a double feature, with a matinee of Parade (starring Ben Platt) and an evening performance of the revival of Camelot, which stars Phillipa Soo and will sport an updated book from Aaron Sorkin (To Kill a Mockingbird). Dinner will be served at Bond 45 between performances.

On Sunday, TheaterMania will take our guests to the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street starring Josh Groban and Annaleigh Ashford, which is already shaping up to be one of the hottest tickets in town.

Guests who wish to stick around Sunday night will be able to tack on a Sunday evening performance of the disaster comedy Peter Pan Goes Wrong for an additional charge. Similarly, guests arriving on Thursday, May 4 will have the option to see Sean Hayes in Good Night, Oscar.

That's a total of six shows in one incredible weekend. We hope you'll join us, but space is limited, so we advise booking now. Click here to learn more about the weekend, and to book your spot.
