Casting information has been announced for Solas Nua’s Washington D.C. premiere of Abbie Spallen’s Pumpgirl, set to play in the Mead Theatre Lab at Flashpoint, February 26-March 2. Linda Murray will direct.
In the play, the title character works in the garage in the borderlands between north and south. Hammy tries to escape his dead-end job racing stock cars, and his marriage to Sinead is running out of fuel. Spallen’s play plots their lives as they become entangled, especially after one fateful night.
The cast will feature Madeleine Carr as Pumpgirl, Dan Brick as Hammy, and Stephanie Roswell as Sinead.
