The Broadway revival of Side Show is primed to make history as the musical's Act I finale will be broadcast live in Times Square on its opening night, Monday, November 17.

At 7:45pm Monday evening, Clear Channel Spectacolor (one of the production's producers) will broadcast the Act I closer, "Who Will Love Me As I Am?," on one of its digital billboards, featuring never-before-used audio technology. The event, which viewers can observe from the famous red steps at Duffy Square in Times Square at 47th Street, will mark the first opening night performance ever to be aired live in Times Square.

"It is exciting for all of us at Side Show to celebrate Broadway in this historic way," said the show's Oscar-winning director Bill Condon (Chicago, Dreamgirls).

Written by Henry Krieger and Bill Russell, Side Show explores the lives of Daisy and Violet Hilton (Emily Padgett and Erin Davie), a pair of conjoined twins who toured the vaudeville circuit and whose bond was able to bring them fame, but not love. Performances are now running at the St. James Theatre.
