Seth Numrich (War Horse) leads the company as Joe Bonaparte, the titular Golden Boy, a young man whose choice of a career as a professional boxer leads to his corruption. The principal cast also includes Tony Shalhoub (The Scene) as Mr. Bonaparte, Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck) as Lorna Moon, Danny Burstein (Follies) as Tokio, Dagmara Dominczyk (The Violet Hour) as Anna Bonaparte, Michael Aronov (Mauritius) as Siggie, Danny Mastrogiorgio (A Steady Rain) as Tom Moody, Anthony Crivello (Kiss of the Spider Woman) as Eddie Fusseli, Jonathan Hadary (Angels in America) as Mr. Carp, Ned Eisenberg (Awake and Sing!) as Roxy Gottlieb, and Daniel Jenkins (Mary Poppins) as Barker.
Demosthenes Chrysan, Sean Cullen, Brad Fleischer, Karl Glusman, Dion Mucciacito, Vayu O’Donnell, Lucas Caleb Rooney, and David Wohl complete the cast. The creative team includes Michael Yeargan (scenic design), Catherine Zuber (costume design), Donald Holder (lighting design), Peter John Still and Marc Salzberg (sound design), B.H. Barry (fight director), Jon Carter (hair and wig design), and Angelina Avallone (make-up and special FX design).
