See Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Sam Waterston Rehearse for Shakespeare in the Park's The Tempest

The Public Theater will kick off its Shakespeare in the Park season with a production of The Tempest, running from May 27-July 5 at Delacorte Theater. Sam Waterston (Law & Order) is set to star as Prospero, with Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family) taking on the role of Trinculo. Michael Greif directs.

The play will also feature Francesca Carpanini as Miranda, Louis Cancelmi as Caliban, Chris Perfetti as Ariel, Whitney Bashor as Juno, Olga Karmansky as Iris, Tamika Lawrence as Ceres, Danny Mastrogiorgio as Stephano, Charles Parnell as Alonso, Rodney Richardson as Ferdinand, Cotter Smith as Antonio, and Bernard White as Gonzalo. The non-equity ensemble includes Jordan Barrow, Chloe Fox, Thomas Gibbons, Sunny Hitt, Brandon Kalm, Rico Lebron, Suki Lopez, and Matthew Oaks.
