Second Thought Theatre Announces 2012 Mainstage Season

Second Thought Theatre has announced its 2012 mainstage season, which will run February 3-July 15. Performances will take place at Bryant Hall on the Kalita Humphreys Campus in Dallas.

The season begins with Pluck the Day (February 3-February 26) by Steven Walters, which will feature live music by local Dallas musician Greg Schroeder. In the play, three West Texas friends are held captive by addiction, fear, and apathy as they wait for salvation.

Next, STT will partner with the Texas Theater to present short films and live performances of Eric Steele’s The Midwest Trilogy (March 15-April 8), which centers around three separate but indirectly linked stories that take place in the heartland of Corporate America.

The season will close with Bomb-itty of Errors (June 22-July 15), a hip-hop adaptation of William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors by Jordan Allen-Dutton, Jason Catalano, GQ and Erik Weiner, and music by J.A.Q.
