The pair took to the stage to celebrate Brown’s Tony-winning musical.
The Museum of Jewish Heritage and the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene presented a concert production of Jason Robert Brown and Alfred Uhry's Tony-winning musical Parade on March 7.
The evening featured songwriter Brown conducting a cast led by married couple Sebastian Arcelus and Stephanie J. Block as Leo and Lucille Frank. They were joined by Broadway's Jesse Warren-Nager, Caitlin Houlihan, Caitlin Kinnunen, and Allie Trimm who rounded out the evening of performers.
Set to the backdrop of the controversial 1915 Leo Frank murder trial, which ended with an innocent Frank lynched by a mob, Parade received the Best Book and Best Original Musical Score Tony Awards in 1999 upon its Broadway premiere.
