Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Duncan Sheik’s American Pyscho Musical to Premiere at Headlong Theatre

Headlong Theatre has announced its 2012-2013 season, which will include the world premiere of the new musical American Pyscho. With music and lyrics by Duncan Sheik and a book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the show, based on Bret Easton Ellis’ novel of the same name, will be directed by Rupert Goold.

Goold will also direct the world premiere of The Boys, Lucy Prebble’s newest play. The theater’s schedule also includes Ella Hickson’s comedy Boys, to be directed by Robert Icke; a new version of Euripides’ Medea, written and directed by Mike Bartlett; and Lucy Kirkwood’s Chimerica.
