Two prime Broadway houses, the St. James Theatre and the Helen Hayes Theatre, will undergo significant renovations in the coming years, Variety reports.

According to the trade publication, construction will soon begin on an expansion of the St. James' stage, knocking out a back wall and deepening it by 10 feet in order to accommodate the advanced technical demands of contemporary musicals. Meanwhile, the Hayes, which shares an alley with the St. James, will be renovated and rebuilt following a purchase by off-Broadway mainstay Second Stage Theatre.

The St. James is currently home to Something Rotten!, and has been rumored to be the upcoming home of the new Disney stage musical Frozen. At the Hayes, The Humans runs through July 24 before moving to the Schoenfeld Theatre beginning August 9.
