Red Bull Theater has announced selections for its 2019 Short New Play Festival, to be held on July 15 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

This year's chosen works are Leap Frog by Kia Corthron; a yet-to-be-announced play by Marcus Gardley; An Evening With the Macbeths by Kate Abbruzzese; Pardon My Greed by Terry Glaser; Something This Way Comes by Eric Pfeffinger; Exposure by Bridgette Dutta Portman; Nineteen Twenty-Six by David Lerner Schwartz and Sofya Levitsky Weitz; and The Devil of History by Matthew Wells.

Over the last eight years, the Short New Play Festival has generated more than 1,000 new short plays of classic themes and heightened language, presenting more than 60 of them in a one-night-only festival performance with some of New York's finest actors and directors.
