Ramin Karimloo, of West End’s Phantom and soon to be seen in Love Never Dies, Sarah Lark, a finalist on the BBC’s I’d Do Anything, and Abi Finley, a finalist on the BBC’s How Do Solve A Problem like Maria?, are just some of the artists featured on the studio cast recording of the new musical, Bluebird. Featuring 24 tracks, the Bluebird CD is scheduled to be released by Escape Records on September 14.
With book, music and lyrics by Gareth Peter, the musical takes place in and around East London and the battlefields of Europe, during the Second World War. It charts the story of ordinary people, living during a tumultuous time.
Peter is also the writer and composer of such musicals as Escape and A Million Grains of Sand. Other artists featured on the recording are: Stephen Weller, Gareth Chart, Robert Archibald, Gemma Sutton, Jeff Nicholson, Greg Bradley and Kit Orton.
