Pure Heaven: A Party with Kay Thompson, written and performed by stage and screen star Ruth Williamson, has postponed all remaining performances due to a throat virus suffered by Williamson. The run began at Westchester’s Emelin Theatre on May 1, and additional performances will now take place November 6-23. Michael Bush directs.

In this musical evening, Williamson portrays Thompson as she imagines her returning from her “home sweet heaven” to set the record straight. Pure Heaven celebrates and examines Thompson as an under-rated yet key part of the American cultural landscape.

The cast will also include John Robert Armstrong, Cole Burden, Dan Maceyak and David Perlow. The creative team will include Tony Ferrieri (set), Daniel James Cole (costumes), Josh Bradford (lighting),Bryan McPartlan (sound), Clint Edwards (arrangements/orchestration), and Steven Watkins (music director).
