The Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre is set to present Teatro SEA’s DC-7, The Roberto Clemente Story, February 14-April 8. The play is written and directed by Luis Caballero.

DC-7 is a bilingual musical that transports audiences to Clemente’s early years in Puerto Rico, his time with the Montreal Royals and his record-breaking, 18-year tenure with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The cast will include Modesto Lacén as Clemente, as well as Lorraine Vélez (Vera), Dr. Manuel A. Morán (Ramiro Martinez), and Josean Ortiz (Matino).

Choreography will be by Luis Salgado, and musical direction will be by Harold Gutiérrez. The design team will be comprised of José López (set design) and Harry Nadal (costume design).
