The 27th annual Broadway Barks pet adoptathon was held on Saturday, July 12 in Shubert Alley. This year’s event was hosted by cofounder Bernadette Peters and her recent Old Friends costar, Beth Leavel.
Co-founded by Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, the event is always free and open to the public and features adoptable animals from NYC area adoption agencies and rescue groups along with Broadway performers, who help them find loving homes.
