Tony Goldwyn and Julie White hosted the Born for Broadway benefit, presented by The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation at the American Airlines Theatre on Monday, May 21. The concert featured direction by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, with musical direction by Lawrence Yurman. The concert was produced by Sarah Galli.
The evening featured performances by Christine Andreas, Adrian Bailey, Ron Bohmer , Jim Brochu, Ben Cook, Cara Cooper, Carmen Ruby Floyd, Sara Jean Ford, Sami Gayle, Andy Karl, Carole Lasser, Jamie Laverdiere, Vicki Lewis, James Naughton, Christiane Noll, Orfeh, Emily Padgett, Robert Petkoff, Jenny Powers, Sara Schmidt, Steve Rosen, Graham Rowat, Ali Stroker, and Marianne Tatum.
Guests at the event also included Christopher Reeve’s son, Matthew. The evening benefitted the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, which is dedicated to curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy.
