PHOTO FLASH: Norbert Leo Butz, Anita Gillette, Dick Latessa at CANY Gala

Norbert Leo Butz, Ann Hampton Callaway, Anita Gillette, Cady Huffman, Dick Latessa, and Billy Stritch performed at The Creative Alternatives of New York (CANY) 2012 annual gala, which was held Monday, April 30 at the Edison Hotel Ballroom.

Gillette was also honored at the gala, as was CANY Chair Emerita, Ellen Kealy. This year’s gala theme was “Creativity+ Community+ Change = Rebuilding Lives.”

Creative Alternatives of New York offers drama therapy programs to traumatized individuals in the New York Metropolitan area, helping them to build new life skills and realize their potential through the art of drama.
