Playwrights Horizons, under the artistic leadership of Tim Sanford, held its Stories on 5 Stories benefit, with the theme, The Devil You Know, on Monday, November 1.
The program featured plays by Michael Cyril Creighton, Kate Fodor, Melissa James Gibson, Jack Herrick, James Lapine, Marlane Meyer, and Peter Parnell, performed in unique locations throughout Playwrights Horizons’ five-story building.
Participating actors included Debra Monk, Hunter Foster, Jennifer Mudge, Chris Coffey, Michael Potts, Barry del Sherman, Michael Cristofer, Neal Huff, Hale Appleman, Sara Gettelfinger, Christopher Kale Jones, Nikki James, Ken Lundie, Peter Bartlett, Marylouise Burke, Cassie Beck, Annie Parisse, Paul Sparks, and David Aaron Baker.
Among the directors were Oliver Butler, Lisa Rothe, and Jonathan Silverstein.
