On Friday, April 20, the cast of the Broadway revival of Mary Chase’s Harvey met with members of the press.
Directed by Scott Ellis, the Pulitzer Prize winning play centers on the charming and kind Elwood P. Dowd, who has only one character flaw: an unwavering friendship with a 6-foot-tall, invisible white rabbit named Harvey.
The cast will star Jim Parsons (Elwood P. Dowd), Jessica Hecht (Veta Louise Simmons), and Charles Kimbrough (William R. Chumley, M.D.) as well as Larry Bryggman (Judge Omar Gaffney), Peter Benson (E.J. Lofgren), Tracee Chimo (Myrtle Mae Simmons), Holley Fain (Ruth Kelly, R.N.),
Carol Kane (Betty Chumley), Angela Paton (Mrs. Ethel Chauvenet), Rich Sommer (Duane Wilson), and Morgan Spector (Lyman Sanderson, M.D.).
