Dylan Baker, Jeff Daniels, Lucy Liu, and Janet McTeer — all of whom are currently starring in the Broadway production of Yasmina Reza’s Tony Award-winning play God of Carnage — each received caricatures at Sardi’s on Tuesday, April 27.
The play, directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus, is about two sets of parents whose children have been involved in a schoolyard dispute and its aftermath. It will close on June 27.
Baker, who plays Alan, received a Tony nomination for La Bete and has appeared on Broadway in November, Mauritius, and Eastern Standard. Daniels, who plays Michael, originated the role of Alan in the production, and received a Tony nomination for his work. Liu, who is making her Broadway debut as Annette, has appeared in such films and television shows as Kill Bill: Vol. 1, Charlie’s Angels, Chicago, and Ally McBeal. McTeer, who plays Veronica, received a Tony nomination for her recent performance in Mary Stuart, and won the Tony for her performance in A Doll’s House.
