PHOTO FLASH: Ellen Burstyn, Bobby Cannavale, Philip Seymour Hoffman, et al. at Atmosphere of Memory Opening

LAByrinth Theatre Company celebrated the opening night of David Bar Katz’s Atmosphere of Memory, now at The Bank Street Theatre, with a party at Knickerbocker on Sunday, October 30.

The play centers on a playwright who has written a play about his family life and who finds that his actual mother has been cast to play his mother and that his estranged father remember events differently than they are depicted in the script.

The company features Max Casella, Kelley Curran, David Deblinger, John Glover, Charles Goforth, Paul Kandel, Kelley Rae O’Donnell, Melissa Ross, and Sidney Williams. Pam MacKinnon has directed the production.

Among the guests at the opening night celebration were Bobby Cannavale, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and David Zayas.
