Playwrights Horizons celebrated the opening of Gina Gionfriddo’s Rapture, Blister, Burn on Tuesday, June 12 with a post-performance party at Heartland Brewery.

Peter DuBois directs the world premiere production, which stars Amy Brenneman and Kellie Overbey as a pair of friends who reconnect after many years to find out that they covet one another’s life. The cast also includes Beth Dixon, Virginia Kull, and Lee Tergesen.

Guests at the performance included Brooke Adams, Tom Bloom, Patch Darragh, Aubrey Dollar, Anita Gillette, Angela Lewis, Kristin Rohde, Tony Shalhoub, Phoebe Strole, and Eddie Kaye Thomas.
