The cast of Gina Gionfriddo’s Rapture, Blister, Burn met the press Tuesday, April 17, at their rehearsal studio at Playwrights Horizons, where the production will run on the mainstage from May 18 through June 24.
Peter DuBois directs the world premiere production, which stars Amy Brenneman and Kellie Overbey as two friends who took very different paths but still covet the other’s life. They are joined by Beth Dixon, Virginia Kull, and Lee Tergesen.
The creative team will include Alexander Dodge (scenic design), Mimi O’Donnell (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), and M.L. Dogg (sound design).
