Now You See Me Live Sets Eight-Week Broadway Run for the Holidays

After sold-out engagements in Australia, Singapore, and London, Now You See Me Live is heading to Broadway.

The live illusion spectacular, inspired by the Now You See Me film franchise, will play an eight-week engagement at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre beginning Wednesday, November 11, with performances scheduled through Sunday, January 3.

Produced by Tim Lawson and Simon Painter, the creators of The Illusionists, in collaboration with Lionsgate, Now You See Me Live brings four illusionists together as the “Four Horsemen,” the same name given to the team of magicians at the center of the movie series.

Broadway’s Four Horsemen will be escapologist Gabriella Lester of South Africa, illusionist James More of England, illusionist Darcy Oake of Canada, and mentalist Matthew Pomeroy of England.

The production promises an assortment of high-tech illusions, solo stunts, and large-scale spectacles, with the four performers bringing their individual specialties to a theatrical version of the magic seen on screen.

Now You See Me Live’s creative team includes Adam Trent (cocreator), Ash Jacks McCready (creative and stage director), Kirsty White(creative director), Enzo Wenye (illusion director), Hugo Mercier-Bosseny (lighting designer) and Evan Duffy (composer).
