Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis will join the second season of the ABC drama, Scandal, in a recurring role, according to TVLine.com.
The site reports he will play the ex-boyfriend of leading character Olivia Pope (played by Broadway and film star Kerry Washington ).
Lewis is currently playing Porgy in the Tony Award-winning The Gershwins’ Porgy & Bess, for which he received a 2012 Tony Award nomination. The actor’s many other stage credits include Les Miserables, Sondheim on Sondheim, Chicago, The Little Mermaid, Side Show, Miss Saigon, The Wild Party, and Amour. He previously starred on AMC’s All My Children.
