Following an acclaimed and award-winning run at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Jonathan Tolins’ Buyer & Cellar — starring 2013 Drama Desk Award winner Michael Urie — reopened at the Barrow Street Theatre for a run through September 1. Stephen Brackett directs the comedy, which is the imaginary tale of an out-of-work actor who takes a job working in the quaint mall that Barbra Streisand built in her basement. On hand for the opening were many of Urie’s celebrity pals, including his Ugly Betty co-stars Vanessa Williams and Mark Indelicato; his former How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying castmate Nick Jonas; as well as Tyne Daly, Holland Taylor, Randy Harrison, and more.
