New Paul Rudnick Play Big Night Set for Kirk Douglas Theatre Season

Center Theatre Group has set its 2017-18 season for the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City.

Paul Rudnick's new play Big Night kicks off the lineup, under the direction of Walter Bobbie. It runs September 3-October 1. Up next is Gerard Alessandrini's Spamilton, making its West Coast premiere November 5-December 31.

Following in 2018 is Elliot, A Soldier’s Fugue, written by Quiara Alegría Hudes and directed by Shishir Kurup (January 27-February 25).

The final production is Center Theatre Group's second annual Block Party, which will celebrate the Los Angeles theater scene with three productions selected from local companies (March 29-May 20).
