The New Jersey premiere of Victor L. Cahn’s play begins this evening.
Villainous Company starts performances tonight at New Jersey Repertory Company.
After a day of shopping, Claire arrives at home only to find one of her items is missing. Before she can call the store to sort it out, an employee mysteriously arrives to deliver the item. When the worker then invites herself inside, things escalate to larceny and trickery as the two women compete in a game of cat-and-mouse. Little do they know, a third is about to arrive.
Written by Victor L. Cahn, they play is directed by SuzAnne Barabas. It features Melissa Macleod Herion as Tracy, Corey Tazmania as Joanna, and Pheonix Vaugn as Claire.
The creative team includes Jessica Parks (set design and props), Brian Snyder (technical director), Patricia E. Doherty (costume design), Jill Nagle (lighting design), Merek Royce Press (sound design), and Jennifer Tardibuono (stage manager).
Performances will run through June 5.
