Morrissey Makes His Broadway Debut

Pop star Morrissey made his Broadway debut on May 2 with the launch of his new concert at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

The concerts will be an exploration of his musical career, from his early days to his latest covers album, California Son, which drops on May 24.

Morrissey first came to prominence as front man of the Smiths. His show, running through May 11, is part of the new series In Residence On Broadway, produced by Live Nation, the Araca Group, and EBG (Entertainment Benefits Group). Other upcoming performers in the series include Yanni, Criss Angel, Regina Spektor, and Mel Brooks.
