Mixed Blood Theatre Announces Amanda White Thietje as Managing Director and Charlie Moore as General Manager
The Minneapolis-based Mixed Blood Theatre has announced the appointment of Amanda White Thietje as Managing Director to launch the company’s upcoming 37th season. She replaces Pj Doyle, who has retired from the position.
Thietje joined Mixed Blood in September 2011 as Director of Radical Hospitality. She has previously worked at Lincoln Center and the William Inge Center for the Arts. Thietje holds a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Arts Administration program and an MFA in acting from Minnesota State Universtiy.
The company also announced that Charlie Moore will assume the new position of General Manager. He has previously served as Mixed Blood Director of Touring. Moore joined the theater in 1984 as Marketing Director, becoming Director of Touring in the 1990s.
