David Leveaux’s Broadway revival of William Shakespeare’s
Romeo and Juliet, starring film heartthrob Orlando Bloom and two-time Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad, celebrated its opening night at the
Richard Rodgers Theatre on Thursday, September 19. The swanky evening, which included a post-performance shindig at the Edison Ballroom, was attended by a host of stage and screen favorites, including Bloom’s
Lord of the Rings costar Sir Ian McKellen, Bloom’s wife, supermodel Miranda Kerr, Rashad’s parents, Tony winner Phylicia and sportscaster Ahmad, Tony winners Harvey Fierstein and Liev Schreiber, and more.
