Barack on Broadway, a benefit for President Barack Obama’s Victory Fund 2012, will be held at 7pm on Monday, June 4 at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Both President Obama and former President Bill Clinton will be in attendance.
The evening will be directed by George C. Wolfe, with music direction by Rob Berman. John Guare will serve as the evening’s script consultant.
The event will be hosted by producers Margo Lion, Thomas Schumacher, Michael David, Lauren Mitchell, Roger Berlind, and Paul Boskind.
Participating artists will be Nina Arianda, Kerry Butler, Norbert Leo Butz, Bobby Cannavale, Stockard Channing, Megan Hilty, Cheyenne Jackson, James Earl Jones, Tony Kushner, Angela Lansbury, Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald, Mandy Patinkin, and Jeffrey Wright.
