Christopher J. Hanke and Robert Eli are among the cast of Topher Payne’s new play.
The stars of the upcoming Primary Stages production of Topher Payne's Perfect Arrangement met the press at their rehearsal studio on September 10. The production is set to run from September 29-November 6 at the Duke on 42nd Street. Opening night is scheduled for October 15.
The cast of Perfect Arrangement includes Julia Coffey (London Wall), Robert Eli (Tartuffe), Mikaela Feely-Lehmann (Cyrano de Bergerac), Christopher J. Hanke (Buyer and Cellar), Kelly McAndrew (Almost, Maine), Kevin O'Rourke (The City of Conversation), and Jennifer Van Dyck (Hedda Gabler).
Presented in association with MARS Theatricals, Perfect Arrangement is a comedy set in the age of the Red Scare where the Martindales and the Baxters have manufactured a life as peppy as a sitcom, right down to the corny jokes and occasional product placement. However, the worlds of I Love Lucy and Edward R. Murrow clash when a coworker at the U.S. State Department discovers their deepest secret. Michael Barakiva directs.
Perfect Arrangement features scenic design by Neil Patel, costume design by Jennifer Caprio, lighting design by Traci Klainer Polimeni, sound design by Ryan Rumery, and hair and wig design by J. Jared Janas.
