An all-star cast will take part in an upcoming staged reading of the new play The Poets of Amityville, written by Eugene Pack. The event will take place on August 28 at the John Drew Theater at Guild Hall in the Hamptons.

Hosted by Lorraine Bracco (The Sopranos), the reading will star Matthew Broderick (Shining City), Stockard Channing (It's Only a Play), Treat Williams (Everwood), Tovah Feldshuh (The Walking Dead), Carol Kane (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Richard Kind (The Big Knife), Geraldine Hughes (Gran Torino), Dayle Reyfel, Patrick Boll, and Chloe Dirksen.

The ensemble comedy centers on an adult education poetry class on Long Island where a possible trip to Dublin ignites fierce competition. A portion of the proceeds from this reading will benefit the Felix Organization, whose mission is to provide inspiring opportunities and new experiences to enrich the lives of children who are growing up in the foster care system.
