Cast and creative tream have been announced co-production of Shakespeare’s Trolius and Cressida between The Wooster Group and the Royal Shakespeare Company, commissioned by the RSC especially for the World Shakespeare Festival.
The production, which will be co-directed by Elizabeth LeCompte and Mark Ravenhill, will play the Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, August 3-18, and will then transfer to the Riverside Studios, London from August 24 through September 8.
The cast includes Joe Dixon (Achilles) , Scott Handy (Ulysses), Aidan Kelly (Ajax), Clifford Samuel (Patroclus), Zubin Varla (Thersites), Danny Webb (Agamemnon/Diomedes), Jibz Cameron (Cassandra), Ari Fliakos (Hector), Marin Ireland (Cressida), Jennifer Lim (Andromache), Greg Mehrten (Pandarus), Bruce Odland (Priam), Andrew Schneider (Aeneas), Scott Shepherd (Troilus), and Gary Wilmes (Paris).
The production will be co-designed by Laura Hopkins and Studio Folkert de Jong, with lighting by Nigel Edwards and music by Jocelyn Pook and Bruce Odland.
