3Graces Theater Company will present the world premiere of Robin Rice Lichtig’s The Power of Birds, which will play at the Milagro Theater, February 19-March 13. Elizabeth Bunnell will direct.
The play centers on a mother who decides to transplant her family — including her twin 12-year-old children Zoe and Charlie and her mother-in-law — when her ornithologist husband suddenly abandons them to follow the birds. The cast will feature Margot Avery as Lily, Emma Galvin as Zoe, Noah Galvin as Charlie, Annie McGovern as Loretta, and Jay Potter as Phillip.
The creative team will include Tijana Bjelajac (scenic design), Brooke Cohen (costume design), John D. Ivy (sound design), and Joshua Scherr (lighting design).
