Tony Award winner Diana Rigg and Tony Award nominee Mackenzie Crook will join HBO’s Game of Thrones for its third season, launching in 2013, according to published reports.
Rigg will play Olenna Tyrell, “The Queen of Thorns,” and Crook will play Orell.
The series will add over a dozen actors for that season, including Clive Russell,
Nathalie Emannuel, Kerry Ingram, Tara Fitzgerald, Paul Kaye, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ellie Kendirck, Richard Dormer, Kristofer Hivju, Philip McGinley, Tobias Menzies, and Anton Lesser.
