Lucille Lortel Award Nominations Announced

The League of Off-Broadway Theatres and Producers has announced the nominations for the 18th annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway, to be presented on Monday, May 5 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, 121 Christopher Street.

The Lincoln Center Theater production of Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme received the most nominations, with six; the Vineyard Theatre production of Avenue Q and the Signature Theatre production of Fifth of July follow with five each.

It has also been announced that The Exonerated will be given a special award for Unique Theatrical Experience; actress Marian Seldes will receive the Edith Oliver Award for Sustained Excellence; and the Vineyard Theatre will receive a special award for Outstanding Body of Work.
