The original ”Jekyll & Hyde” star will headline the benefit performance.
Singer and Broadway veteran Linda Eder will perform in Bucks County Playhouse's one-night-only Bucks County Cabaret on Saturday, October 4, featuring a bill of standards, as well as a collection of pop, country, and jazz music. The performance will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Eder made her Broadway debut in Jekyll & Hyde and has gone on to record 15 acclaimed solo albums.
"Linda Eder's dazzling voice and ability to interpret familiar songs in new ways are matched only by her generosity," said Tom Viola, executive director of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. "We are thrilled Linda will be joining us at Bucks County Cabaret. It will be a special night for the New Hope community, which, since the earliest days of the crisis, has offered consistent and compassionate support for those affected by HIV/AIDS."
The evening will begin with cocktails at 5pm, followed by a 6pm performance and live auction. An exclusive VIP reception with Eder will be held after the performance.
