Lin-Manuel Miranda Goes Backstage to Visit Frozen's Leading Ladies

Broadway's Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) took in Frozen this weekend and afterward went backstage to applaud leading ladies Caissie Levy (Elsa) and Patti Murin (Anna). Take a peek at the moment below:

Based on the hit 2013 animated film, Frozen features music and lyrics by the creators of the film score, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and a book by Jennifer Lee, the film's screenwriter and codirector. Michael Grandage directs, with choreography by Rob Ashford.

Joe Carroll and Ryann Redmond join the company today as Hans and Olaf, respectively, with Redmond the first woman to play the beloved snowman. In addition, Noah J. Ricketts will assume the role of Kristoff. The three take over the roles from original cast members Jelani Alladin (Kristoff), Greg Hildreth (Olaf), and John Riddle (Hans), all of whom played their final performances on Sunday, February 17.
