Light Shining in Buckinghamshire Extends at New York Theatre Workshop

New York Theatre Workshop has announced a one-week extension for Light Shining in Buckinghamshire. Originally set to run through Sunday, May 27, this new production of Caryl Churchill's 1976 play will now run through Sunday, June 3.

Light Shining in Buckinghamshire is set in 1647 England, where power is shifting and, amid the chaos and confusion, revolutionaries across the country are dreaming of a new future. The cast includes Vinie Burrows, Rob Campbell, Matthew Jeffers, Mikéah Ernest Jennings, Gregg Mozgala, and Evelyn Spahr.

Directed by Rachel Chavkin, the creative team includes scenic design by Riccardo Hernández, costume design by Toni-Leslie James, lighting design by Isabella Byrd, sound design by Mikaal Sulaiman, and props by Noah Mease, with original music and music direction by Orion Johnstone.
