The Broadway Sings concert series will present Broadway Sings Bruno Mars at the Highline Ballroom on July 20 at 7pm. The event will feature Broadway favorites performing completely brand-new arrangements of Mars' hits, accompanied by a full band playing original orchestrations.
Broadway Sings Bruno Mars is produced and directed by Corey Mach. The concert will feature cover songs to celebrate the pop singer’s iconic songs, including "Uptown Funk," "Grenade," "When I Was Your Man," and "Just the Way You Are." The music will be orchestrated and arranged by Joshua Stephen Kartes.
The lineup of talent includes Matt DeAngelis (Once), Jay Armstrong Johnson (On the Town), Leigh Ann Larkin (A Little Night Music), Ciara Renée (Pippin), Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Corey Cott (Gigi), Abby Mueller (Kinky Boots), Nick Rashad Burroughs (Kinky Boots), Gerard Canonico (American Idiot), Max Chernin (Brooklynite), John Arthur Greene (Matilda The Musical), Alison Luff (Matilda the Musical), Corey Mach (Hands on a Hardbody), Gabrielle Reid (Beautiful — The Carole King Musical), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia!), Marisha Wallace (Aladdin), Michael Wartella (Wicked), Alan Wiggins (Beautiful), and Devon Lavinia Yates.
