Updated casting has been announced for the film version of Leslye Headland’s play Bachelorette, according to published reports. Headland has written the screenplay and will direct the project.
The piece centers on three best friends who have been invited to serve as bridesmaids at the wedding of a girl they called “Pigface” in high school. The play was seen Off-Broadway last summer as part of Second Stage Theatre’s Uptown Series.
Kyle Bornheimer, Lizzy Caplan, Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher, Adam Scott, and Rebel Wilson will appear in the film.
