Kiefer Sutherland will star alongside Gerard Depardieu in the upcoming film Sleight of Hand, according to published reports. Brad Mirman will direct the movie, which will begin filming in July.
The action-comedy centers on a crew of small-time crooks in Paris, and will also feature Nora Arnezeder, Eric Cantona, Patrice Cols, Jean Luc Couchard, Johnny Hallyday, Thomas Jane, Jon Lovitz, and Til Schweiger.
Sutherland is currently starring on Broadway in the revival of That Championship Season at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre through May 29. He is perhaps best known for starring as Jack Bauer on the hit Fox-TV series 24.
