The Birds and the Bees: Unabridged, Honest Accomplice Theater's show that explores the unique yet interwoven life circumstances of eight women and trans people forced to confront their own sexuality, will play a run at The Tank. Through dialogue, movement, song, humor, and multimedia, the performance piece examines such themes as partner communication, sexual identity, the desexualization of aging women, today’s "hook-up" culture, and sexual health. The show played a run at University Settlement last year.

"We want people to know that others out there recognize the complexity of modern female and trans sexuality, and to feel comfortable in challenging the conceptions society often defines for them," shares Honest Accomplice Theater cofounders Maggie Keenan-Bolger and Rachel Sullivan.

This run of The Birds and the Bees: Unabridged will feature Ashleigh Awusie, Maybe Burke, Jenne Carey, Ruth Cooper, Meggan Dodd, Cat Fisher, Molly Gallagher, Lindsay Griffin, Catherine Gowl, Jordan Ho, Stephanie Mallick, E. Okobi, Julia Osen Averill, Mary Parker, Riti Sachdeva, Holly Sansom, and Aubrey Seader.
