The Kennedy Center will present First You Dream: The Music of Kander and Ebb in the Eisenhower Theater, June 8-July 1, 2012, with an opening on June 13. The production replaces the previously announced Pal Joey, which has been postponed indefinitely due to scheduling conflicts.
Eric Schaeffer will direct a cast of six in this musical revue, which celebrates the songwriting team of John Kander and Fred Ebb, with each musical in their legendary five-decade partnership included. The show debuted at Signature Theatre, where Schaeffer is artistic director, in 2009.
