Tony Award nominee Jayne Houdyshell and Obie Award winner David Greenspan will be joined by Julian Fleisher, Francis Jue, January LaVoy, Elliot Villar, and William Youmans in the musical adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s novel Coraline, to be presented by MCC Theater at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, May 7-June 20, with an opening night set for June 1.
Leigh Silverman will direct this piece about poor bored 9-year-old Coraline’s disorienting journey into a perfected replica of her own world that rapidly turns nightmarish. The piece will feature original music and lyrics by Stephin Merritt and book by Greenspan.
