Tony and Oscar nominee Jude Law will star in the film Dom Hemingway, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The actor will play the title character, described as “a larger-than-life safecracker with a loose fuse who is also funny, profane and dangerous.” The black comedy, set in London, will be written and directed by Richard Shepard and also star Richard E. Grant.
Law received a Tony nomination in 2010 for his performance in the title role of Hamlet. He received Academy Awards nominations for his performances in The Talented Mr. Ripley and Cold Mountain, with his many other movie credits including Sherlock Holmes, The Aviator, Closer, and Breaking and Entering.
