Tony and Emmy nominee John Tartaglia will co-host the July 19 at 10pm installment of Open Mic Mondays at New World Stages. This third anniversary celebration will also feature host Colleen Harris and accompanist Michael James Roy.
Audience members are encouraged to bring sheet music, or borrow from the collection on hand, and share their talent Off-Broadway.
Tartaglia is currently represented Off-Broadway by his family-friendly show, Imaginocean, which performs at New World Stages. He also created the Emmy-nominated Johnny and the Sprites. On Broadway, he earned a Tony nomination for his performance in Avenue Q. Among his other credits are Shrek The Musical and Beauty and the Beast. In addition, he appeared for 10 seasons on Sesame Street.
