Joan Rivers and Melissa Rivers are set to star in WE TV’s new reality series Mother Knows Best, according to published reports. The show, which is scheduled to premiere later this year, will follow the elder Rivers as she moves in with her daughter, her grandson, and Melissa’s boyfriend in Los Angeles.
Joan Rivers has a number of live performances scheduled in the coming months at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. She received a Tony Award nomination for Sally Marr… and Her Escorts and starred on stage and co-authored the play Joan Rivers: A Work in Progress by a Life in a Progress.
In addition to her work on television and stage, Rivers has authored two new books, Men Are Stupid… And They Like Big Boobs… A Woman’s Guide to Beauty Through Plastic Surgery and the mystery novel Murder at the Academy Awards.
