According to published reports and the online movie database IMDb, Tony Award winner Jessie Mueller is set to make her feature film debut later this year in Steven Spielberg's The Post as Judith Martin, a.k.a. the famous advice columnist Miss Manners.

Also starring in the film are Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Sarah Paulson, Carrie Coon (Mary Jane), Tracy Letts, Stark Sands (Kinky Boots), and more, Spielberg's historical drama focuses on the Washington Post's decision to publish the Pentagon Papers in 1971. The film is set for a limited release on December 22 before going nationwide on January 12, 2018.

Mueller won a Tony Award for her performance as Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, and was nominated for On a Clear Day You Can See Forever and Waitress. Her next Broadway role will be as Julie Jordan in an upcoming revival of Carousel.
